Thank you for the mention!

Thank you Jo and Kim of Desire to Inspire for including me in your Easter reading guide! It was totally unexpected and very exciting! Check out Desire to Inspire's complete Easter reading guide - there's alot of great blogs listed, including Just Imagine, one of my regular reads.

And while I'm on the subject of thank you's - thank you to PVE Design for posting my home office on her week-long feature on desk vignettes and home offices. Isn't this illustration wonderful!

PVE noticed the brick wall that is calling out for help. Here's the question - do I paint it white or dark brown like the back of the shelves?
The painting is Anne Harwell's Lilly's Desk

awwww thanks so much for the mention !! Its so exciting to see my name pop up one one of my favourite blogs !!! I lurveee that deep chocolate you have behind your shelves and will have to vote to have that on the other side.....it would add such a cozy comfy feeling.....blue and brown is one of my fav. combos....thanks for the link to my blog (it's not linking to my site though...I think you may have left out the word design in the link) xxx

ooops and I think that chocolate would look lovely and rich and delicious against the orange tones of the wood.........but I am biased towards chocolate.

Hmmm...I think you can't go wrong with the chocolate or white. Both sound good to me.

Thanks for sharing your office and I guess I opened up a can of worms, to paint that brick wall! You could always paint it white, and live with it, and then see if you want it chocolate. Sometimes you have to live with it to see it!

I say white and do some fab painting or print and put it in a chocolate frame.
A positive/negative thing. It's a tough one. Great workspace!

BTW- That lamp on the desk is really cool! Where did you find it?

JI - hi - I fixed the link. thanks. LC - I got the lamp about 8 years ago at Restoration Hardware on sale for $40. It's really cool because the base has an electrical outlet and a phone jack. Thanks for all the comment/ideas everyone.
