I'm visiting from over at Design Ties. The name of your blog is what intrigued me. I have a very dear friend that lives in the Nottinghill section of London. I love your blog and all your great photos and inspiration. Thanks for sharing.
I absolutely adore Bruges!! We went to Bruges over the Christmas holidays in 2007, and it was fantastic!! The Christmas Market, the lights, the atmosphere.... We stayed at an amazing B&B just a few minutes from the Belfort Tower and walked EVERYWHERE!!
The hotel that you posted looks really nice. The soft blue is so pretty, and the exposed brick adds great character :-)
Coincidentally, I posted a picture on our blog today that I took in Luxembourg City, another European city that I love :-)
These are great but my eye goes to the bedroom with the open space, the big expanse of bare floor. It's has some breathing room - an undecorated space.
* ......oooohhhh, and they have the BEST, most BEAUTIFUL linens ever! (And my husband couldn't ORDER enough MUSSELS... break, lunch AND dinner!!!)~~~ I smile at the memories we garnered on that particular trip! SHEER DELIGHT! ~~~ "Thanks, for the memories!"~~~ Best, Linda *
Especially love the last photo -- gorgeous blue on the walls and so much fun to find the coordinating blue details scattered around the room. Thanks so much for sharing.

I could see you living here.
The architectural details are amazing - They are the silent masters of those rooms.
