Dreamy Seaside Bedroom

I'm stuck - stuck on the magazine Nuevo Estilo and this dreamy seaside bedroom. As I think about why I love it so much here's what comes to mind: the relatively unadorned white walls, the white washed wicker chairs, the metal X-base table and the gray sheet. For some reason I love that gray sheet.

The view doesn't hurt. Either one - the paintings or the ocean.
Usually not a fan of vessel sinks, but I like this one off to one side on this large bureau. It appears this part of the bathroom is open to the room, off to an alcove on the side. Notice the full curtains at the entry to the walk-in closet - a clever way to repeat the treatment at the sliding glass doors (in the first pic.)

And then this - this is high end outdoor living. To see more of this sophisticated home - click here. Have a great weekend!!

All photos by Nuevo Estillo, I was unable to locate the photographer or designer's names.

I love the long drapes and the way the paintings are just leaning against the wall.

If I ever buy a poster bed, this would be the style I'd choose. Love the feel of the room, open, bright, beachy.

Love, love, love this. The grey sheet looks so cool to the touch, the wicker chair is wonderful and everything appears to be floating.
I need "floating" right now. Who doesn't is this heat & humidity.
Thanks for the wonderful new link to peek at. Very refreshing & always good to visit My Notting Hill.

Gorgeous images. I agree - that grey sheet drew my eye - what is it about that grey-blue that's so dreamy? Not a bad view at all. This is an exceptional magazine and I still must take some time to peruse...

Have a great weekend! Terri

Wow those egg chairs in Wicker! I have never seen that before! Fascinating that the art wasn't hung on the walls as well. And of course the pooling drapes were amazing too! Great post!

I noticed that my blog is stuck on a post from a couple months ago, this URL should update it;

Lovely, just lovely!
I see what you mean with the gray sheet, it pulls in the window frame and grounds the bed!
Nice.
And the porch, OHHH!

You know, I'd long abandoned white, unadorned walls. I thought it was for unimaginative types but this proves me very wrong! I love the vivid paintings leaning against the wall. The white-washed wicker and the outdoor area. The owners must be in heaven!

How come my panels won't puddle like that? Is it kind of like that secret trick to effortlessly tying a sweater around ones neck? I'll show you my trick if you show me yours...

The last picture is like living in paradise. Gorgeous! I would love to spend the rest of my life in a place like this, coupled with stunning lights, this is just the perfect place for a vacation and relaxation.
