This was the state of my kitchen this past Saturday - a mere 5 days before 25 people would be coming for Thanksgiving! (*guests - if you're reading this it's all ok now)

Where the ladder is is where the stairs to the basement used to be. Now instead of an L shape, the kitchen is a much larger, squared off space with a round kitchen table in the center. It's not complete in terms of finishes, new counters etc but it has a nice feel to it - something along the lines of The Walton's kitchen. And, most importantly, it's ready to cook 2 turkeys!

You are bringing it down to the wire, girl! Nothing like a little added stress for Thanksgiving, huh? I'm sure you will pull it all together beautifully and we can't wait to see your finished kitchen!
I feel your pain. We are expecting 22, including two 3-year olds, an infant and 4 teen agers who will be enlisted as baby sitters! But no remodeling, thank god. Good luck with your entertaining, and a very happy thanksgiving. Hope you will share how you set everything up!
Just in time for those turkeys too! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
