Georgetown's Comer and Company

Why hadn't visited this store before now?  Couldn't help thinking that as I soaked in all the gorgeous tablescapes and interesting, unique accessories at Comer and Company.  There's a well curated mix of vintage and antique items and you're surely to find something you'll covet.  For me it's the two glass bottle style bookends below.

Coral colored intaglios mounted on burlap, which added great textural interest.

Notice how they use the an acyrlic stand to raise the lamp in order to fit them both w/the urn.  A white sunburst mirror is a nice change from the usual.

Loved these lucite sculptures.
Check out this very interesting paneled door.  Now why don't they sell these at Lowes?  Wait, I know why...Hope you have a great Monday.

Great store! Do you know what they were asking for the intaglios? I seem to have a thing for those.

I visited Comer & Co. on my last DC visit and blogged about it here:

Such a beautiful shop - the walls are BM Revere Pewter (I asked) - they look the same as last time.

So envious that you get to live there. :)
