Coastal Kitchen

Came across this fabulous kitchen on the realtor site DeLoach Sotheby.  Wish I could find more pics.  I'm not a fan of huge islands except when they are as practical as this one - you could really see people gathered around here for dinner or late night conversation over drinks.  Love the bold fabric too.

how do you clean the middle of that island without crawling on top of it? I hate them too and thats why. not a fan.

Michele,
Love the contrast between the White and Black, love the kitchen design but agree with Stefan not sure how I could stretch to wipe the middle, not stretch Armstrong. But certainly is a beautiful kitchen.

I like that the ceiling is average height. So many kitchens now are vaulted - and to me, this is much more cozy.

The long patterned seat right next to the stairs....with all the scooting and dragging to get in and out of the seats....bad plan.
