When Vendome Press gave me a chance to review Decorating with Carpets: A Fine Foundation
by Ashley Stark Kenner and Chad Stark, of the famed Stark carpets, I thought it would be a wonderful way to learn more about the storied history of the most beautifully designed carpets available. What I didn't realize at the time though, is that this book would also be a compendium of the some of the most beautiful rooms by the best designers out there. You'll be treated to rooms by Bilhuber, Branca, Bridges, Cohler, Drake, Hagan, Hampton, Kasler….well, you get the idea.

The book is organized by room and its 240+ pages illustrate how to use carpets as a beautiful foundation for every room in the house. Another big plus, most of these rooms are ones I hadn't seen before. Decorating with Carpets: A Fine Foundation will be a great addition to your collection!
