Just returned from Key West! I love it and was so excited to see your post, too! To me, the island has such a blend of cultures- very European in feel but with some kind of a dose of New Orleans mischief. Its spirit inspired me too and I couldn't help but also make a blog post when i returned!

That first photo is perfection! The owners are so lucky. The homes of Key West are so amazing to begin with-- dripping with southern charm in a tropical setting. I think I need to read some Hemingway this weekend!

We lived in a renovated Conch house in Key West for 4 years...lovely time in my life. Very hot summers though...without a pool...well, I couldn't take it again.

The cover of the Key West book is stunning...love the greyed wood and white seashells. Great find.

lucky for me i have lived in key west and i have been in your last home pictured. a fine gentleman with great character lives there. pottery barn used the house several times as the back drop of there catalog - fyi. And if you are ever in key west in dec, jan, feb or mar they have a home tour each month. you won't be sorry. and afterwards park yourself at grand vin with a glass of wine!
