In fact it served as inspiration for placing our fireplace at table height in our (still mid-renovation) kitchen. It's lovely in winter, but also for taking the chill off in late spring and early fall when the boiler is off. The Gluckstein example also proves that even a gas fireplace can provide the feel of a more traditional hearth, with the benefit of everyday use.S and Nhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18138855084249771885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13924653723155000.post-32802383526409790342011-01-31T09:52:21.462-05:002011-01-31T09:52:21.462-05:00I couldn't live without my fireplace in the li...I couldn't live without my fireplace in the living room, it's gas and it warms the whole first floor.........nothing better this cold wet Seattle winter.<br />Best.........KathiAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13924653723155000.post-66926824861781692992011-01-30T15:27:01.253-05:002011-01-30T15:27:01.253-05:00love fireplace in any room :-) lovely greetings
