Tord Boontje - magical lighting

I love these magical lights from Tord Boontje, the award winning Dutch designer. The garland light is made from a continuous strand of metal and can be wrapped and configured into the shape you desire. It is in the permanent collection of MOMA in New York and the Victoria and Albert museum in London. The midsummer light is made from two layers of cut tyvek - in our house it is often deployed as a "night light" as it casts a soft, beautiful pattern on the wall. Both use one 60W bulb.
