Chicago's Jayson Home and Garden - Gorgeous woods & contrasting textures

Jayson Home and Garden is another great Chicago design store. What really stood out were the wonderful wood pieces and the use of animal skins with either traditional furniture or modern chrome pieces. Their lower level houses some great finds at marked down prices. Very friendly design staff as well - you've gotta love the midwest!
Couldn't resist posting this close-up shot of this terrific vignette.

This screen was really impressive. Although the picture doesn't show it, it extends for about 2 or so more feet.

Close-up shot of this gorgeous wood.
More amazing wood.
A traditional chair with a twist.

Lo-o-oved this resin lamp.

Seeing alot of busts showing up in stores.

Cloisonne jars.
They're having a European flea market April 18 - 20th. Online sales for this event start April 25th.

Liking the hide on the chair. I may do that for my office chair rescue.

thanks for all the comments. Cartolina - you're right the building itself was great. CE - an A - Z tag sounds fun. I'll post it this weekend. PVE and LC - looks like you both like the animal hide for a chair. If you do it sometime, send me the pic to post. JI, Alkemie and Jennifer (Newlywed Diaries) - glad you enjoyed the pics.
