Maison Living - Georgetown

Did somebody say there's a new home furnishings store in D.C.? Yesterday, Terri Sapienza of The Washington Post, featured the opening of Maison Living in Georgetown. I'm open for any excuse to head over to Georgetown and this store is nestled in a beautiful, residential area. Maison Living is the new sister store to the established antiques store, Jean Pierre Antiques. Owner, Jean Pierre Sarfati, is seeking to create a boutique store with stylish pieces at reasonable prices. Goal accomplished! Thank you Jean Pierre and Pam for being so welcoming. Looking forward to my next visit.

Notice the leather footballs at home on these chocolate mohair club chairs. The club chairs, sold as a pair, are $695 each. In the 15 minutes I was there, a charming white mirror , a chandelier and a pair of lucite lamps sold. Earlier that morning, an upholstered Swedish bench was purchased as well.

As I was drooling over this chandelier, an interior designer came in and said, "I'll take it." It's headed for a lucky client's master bedroom.
There were a number of zinc ornamental pieces suitable for home and garden.
The following pictures were taken at Jean Pierre Antiques - it's full of beautiful and interesting furniture, chandeliers, mirrors and accessories, etc. (the two stores are connected)
Love the lamp with the medallian - there's a pair of them available.

Love the bench, the mirrors, the chandelier that was bought, the painting, the lamp with the medallion... too much here to decide on a few things. I could do some serious damage there.
Glad that you had a fun trip!
