All About The Beach Vibe

I don't think I've ever met a tastefully rendered beachy style room that I haven't loved. Whether it's dreamy blues and sand tones, nautically inspired navy and white, or Caribbean vibed tropical colors, I love them all. Here's to the beach and to summer - and to bringing a little of it (or alot) into our homes.

Love this post - it's got me in the summertime mood. I have a house at the beach (Cape Cod) for July and can't wait to get there. Being near the beach is always a great escape!

First of all, THANK YOU for the shout out! You are too kind.

Okay, your taste is amazing. The seafoam blue tufted ottoman needs to come home with me. Love it. I will be looking at all of these pretty pics again tomorrow. They're helping me with ideas at my house.

The John Saladino inspired sofa looks like the prefect place for a beach house nap. Aqua Blue is definitely the color of the season. Your so chic.

ok - i have to point out one of my pet peeves here (not your fault!) but that 3rd image of the blue and white kitchen is in a house the (architectural) firm I work at did. Of course only the interior designer was mentioned! The architect is primarily responsible for many interior (hard) finishes, especially in a kitchen or bath such as this kitchen with only nominal work done by the interior designer (in a space such as a bath or kitchen) - not to take any credit away from I.D'ers. But this is a mistake made by most magazines and it drives me CRAZY (being an architect who is left out and my work is CLAIMED by interior designers). The firm responsible for that kitchen is Barnes Vanze Architects of DC.
