My bedroom is in need of care! I have been dreaming but not doing. Curtains that were taken down 3 months ago have not been returned to the rod. The raffia fabric that was "draped" over the headboard awaits permanent application! (My ego precludes me from admitting how long ago the "draping" took place. ) The pretty fabric has not been sewn into pillows. I could continue but I will spare you. It is my hope that this little bit of public sharing will spur me on (or shame me into) finishing that room. Well, at least the sheets are clean.

Make the first day of Fall your goal! You can celebrate a new season with a new bedroom!
ReplyDeleteI dunno...your dreaming is working JUST FINE for me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the candy!
The bedroom is really the place to charge one's batteries, peaceful and fresh is how I prefer it. I even close the door to shut out whatever is going on in the rest of the house....mmmm, I do let the cat in.
ReplyDeleteHave a good day, Ingela
I love that white bed with the grey pillows from Living etc. I love a white room but for me it has to have punches of dark wood - and that bedroom is perfect for me.
ReplyDeleteLove all those images, maybe when it cools down a bit you will be re-energized to get that bedroom into shape!! School starts monday - YIPPEE!!
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way... i got some new elements to re-do my bedroom and then got swept up in having a house guest (from hell, btw) for three weeks... it's all sitting forlornly in bags, waiting for me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement - my goal will be early September. Call me on it if you don't see a post w/pics of my bedroom!
ReplyDeleteOMG, I'm totally totally in love with that first bedroom you posted! Lovely selection, I've definitely saved some of them for my inspiration board. Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteI love that mirror in the first image. It has a modern Moorish feel to it.
ReplyDeletePlease finish that room & give us pics! Then, maybe I will finish mine.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog. Thanks for all the time & effort you give.
Cheers!
The third image is dreamy!
ReplyDeleteGreat post and we look forward to seeing the finished product.
i adore the first and the third rooms. so cool and savvy. now i want to buy new sheets and all.
ReplyDeleteI love all of the rooms you are dreaming of! It's always difficult because when we are redoing a room even if it's something as simple as changing curtains we want to be sure we like it before we really commit. I am sure that by Thanksgiving everything will be as it should be. You'll see.
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love your inspirational rooms.
You are not alone...UGH! My bedroom is out of order also...
