Colorful Eye Candy

Leafing through a magazine at the bookstore, I noticed an eye catching photo of Hout Bay Manor, Cape Town South Africa.

A visit to this hotel's website did not disappoint. Love the pink and the yellow ...wow

*Update - the designer of this hotel is Boyd Ferguson. Thank you to the comment from Brown Family. It seems there is a store too but unfortunately no web site for it.

  4. Boyd Ferguson is the designer of this hotel and is pictured on the site. He and his business partner bought my mother's house in Durban, South Africa and converted it to their store called "Cecile & Boyd". Unfortunately they don't have a website. It is an absolutely stunning store and full of delicious eye candy. The store is very layered as can be seen in the hotel and the design perspective is strongly British Colonial with lots of local African accents thrown in (as in the grass basket placed on the bedroom wall in Hout Bay). I now live in Canada and make a point of visiting the store each time I visit.

It is very layered and is a fusion of British Colonial with local African pieces (as can be seen in the woven basket on the wall in the hotel bedroom).
