Cozy & Comfortable

Living in Flanders, author Piet Swimberghe with photos by Jan Verlinde via Habitually Chic
I find this room is both "old money" in its look and comfortable and inviting at the same time.

Southern Accents, photography by Mark Waldron, via All the Best. You can't go wrong with a fireplace in the kitchen.

Designer Stephen Shubel, photography by Thibault Jeanson, Veranda, image via Topsy Turvy

Love the picture of the tree, so simple and natural.

Three spectacular choices!
I think I may have saved that issue of Veranda because of that Christmas house. Is it the one in France?

Fireplace, yes, and I love the ancestral portrait looking down from the wall. Works of art lend character so effectively.

PT&E - The Christmas tree photo is designer Stephen Shubel's house in France, and it's from Veranda, Dec. 2005.
