Some lovely eye candy from Australian House & Garden - all bright and light. I'm loving these sunny and bright interiors as an antidote to our dismal gray weather of late. Hopefully the sun will be out tomorrow as promised! Love how the blue frames the door and the view into the next room. (Designer Richard Allen, photography by Rob Reichenfeld)
The gold framed artwork is perfection in this space.
I really like the angle the photographer chose for this shot.

We had a gorgeous day in Atlanta - a 10 on the local weather man's scale. The beautiful weather made me happy to see these light and bright images...a taste of what is to come in spring.
Hope your weather improves!
Really, really beautiful rooms! I had to show hubby, telling him if we ever get to build out dream home that these would be inspiration pics :-)
I was also happy to see the dining room table pic - I've suggested something similar to a client of mine so copied this to share with her. Thanks!

Beautiful! Put me in an even more cheery mood. I love that kitchen!
I love light & airy rooms. They make me feel like it's Spring indoors all the time! Love your blog!
I always love the contrast created with white walls & fabrics alongside of natural/stained woods. Even in casual settings it is striking.

That flung open door surely does convey a bright and light day! I love all that white. All that freshly scrubbed white.

Spreading the word on great home design
So refreshing...but we are still so cold here, it's hard to imagine living in white.
Wouldn't it be great to have two homes, in different climates, that you could design and decorate differently?
We lived in Key West for a few years, and the kicker when we moved back to Vancouver was that...well, first, I had to wear socks for the first time in 4 years, and it got dark here at 4:00 in the winter...light is everything!
Beautiful, and fresh interior, thanks!
There seems to be a turquoise trend on the blogs lately, I think we are all waiting for summer to arrive :)
ike this yellow stone surrounding the fireplace - do you think it is natural?
Those twin beds are so adorable. Lovely Aussie images. Have a wonderful weekend and I hope the sun shines for you, xv.
THanks for all the comments. Trend Office - I think the stone is real, though I'm not certain.
Gorgeous photos, Michele! I hope you are well - have a great weekend!
*** Ohhh, the "clean-lined, streamlined life"~~~~ soooo restful, so calming, so refreshing. One can think without all the "clutter"! "Paradise", without a doubt! THANK YOU! Linda ***
