"Blogger Prison" and Beautiful Charleston

I was temporarily in "Blogger Prison". I returned home from Charleston Saturday night with my trusty camera full of great pics only to discover that Blogger had flagged my blog as a potential spam blog and blocked access to it. I guess the automated classifier program somehow indicated my blog was a risk. Fortunately they have a process that allows your case to be reviewed - thus my release!(thank you Blogger) One lesson learned though - if your blog is blocked and you don't request a review within 20 days it will be deleted. So if you're leaving on a 20 plus day vacation be sure to check on your blog. Now back to happier news - beautiful Charleston! Today's post is curbside eye candy from Charleston. Having never been before, I have to say I was so impressed. Later in the week I'll do a post focusing on the gardens and doors but here are some of the homes I loved. I adore the home above and the topiaries on the balcony.

Note the mail in the mail slot - was a real reminder to me that people live their daily lives in these gorgeous homes.

A pool tucked behind a garden gate.

So cute! More tomorrow from the wonderful store Elizabeth Stuart Design.

So pretty! And, it's all so green! We only have a few wisps of green still up here in New England - not to mention how cold it still is! So, thanks for these warm images!!

We live in Charlotte NC and visit Charleston at lease six times a year. We never tire of walking the streets and taking in the gardens and architecture. We also love to visit the surrounding plantations...Middleton is still our favorite. Someday we hope to retire there...one can only dream!

Yay! You are back and with lovely pictures even better.

I'm trying to talk my in-laws into using their timeshare in Charleston this summer so that I can tag along and see the sites. I think these images will help my cause.

Can't wait to see more!

Thanks so much for bringing these photos home with you. Call me crazy but i could look at crisp black shutters, white wooden gates, and ivy crawling up the side of brick....all day long.
Have not been to Charleston but i think if i went i might not come home as i would probably get arrested for stalking!
Love having you as one of my daily reads! Thanks again.

Your photos are absolutely gorgeous! Do these homes come with armies of gardeners? Everything looks freshly mowed and trimmed as if they knew you were coming! I have been so looking forward to your sharing descriptions and pictures--thank you for the serious eye candy

That's it, the photos convinced me. We have friends who go every year and have begged that we do a family trip together. It looks fantastic.
