Isn't the two colored wing chair interesting? I like how the accent color accentuates the wing backs. Knightsbridge Hotel

normally i wouldn't choose to work with the colors in the 1st pic, but that space is luscious.

Does anyone know what the fabric is on the chairs in the first photo? I am on a mission to find it!!! Great post on a cloudy day.

I love, love, love the Covent Garden Hotel pic! I love the color combo, and the walls are beautiful!
Beautiful pictures, I love the last one- those wing chairs are great!
this gives me inspiration for my easter egg dying I'm doing this weekend! beautiful post!
This is such a fabulous post! You've combined two of my favorite things...design and travel. I long to visit the JK Capri and JK Florence. I have featured both on my blog and often go back and look at the pictures wistfully.
so cheerful... love the first shot... so refreshing...
pavlova - i do not know the fabric in this shot but manuel canovas has something similar that i used on a project...so long ago i do not have the name but you can start there..
So charming.
I want to say the lilac fabric is by Designer's Guild.....but I am not quite certain. Some of their new collection seems to have that feel. Might be worth a look.
I love the first room....and I'm not usually drawn to purple but it's so pretty.
Many thanks for posting that I am on a search for that luscious fabric ....I truly appreciate it!
I am sure that I will be able to find something similar. xo

I am a pastel girl at heart, even though I like to think of it as 'soft, muted colors'. What beautiful images, most of which I have not seen before. I will keep my eye out for the fabric in the first photo, but it is ikat inspired and shouldn't be too hard to find. I agree with the other reader, Designers Guild tends to be more daring with their colors and it could very well be from them.
This is a beautiful idea - and a great selection. I can't wait to dye eggs!
just like an easter egg hunt! just my kind.
I used one of your photos on my blog http://www.simplylovelyideas.blogspot.com/
but credited you. Hope you don't mind. I just loved one of the shots.
