Here's the kitchen of the Fredericksburg cottage - idyllic in every way! The patina of this kitchen table was so beautiful. Painted mix & match chairs were gathered around the table. My absolutely favorite part was this very unique hutch/cupboard.
A spot for everything. This is so clever. Keeping my fingers crossed that I'll find one of these someday.
Beadboard, open shelving and scalloped wood borders.
The kitchen had touches of red accents. Hard to see the broom here but if a broom could be cute, this red one was adorable.
More of the table because I love it.
Here I am feeling clever after I noticed how the key lime tart from Rather Sweet looked resting on top of The World of Interiors with its green cover. Rather Sweet is a very well known bakery and completely worthy of its reputation.
In the living room the plans for the kitchen were framed. Here's a close-up of the kitchen design of one of the walls.
I think if you click on this photo you can view the rest. Definitely shows how much thought and care went into this memorable kitchen.

This kitchen is absolutely charming, the details are beautifully rustic - mixed furniture, painted floors, even the kettle was perf.
Alas, I can't stop thinking of the key lime tart, on of my fave desserts.

Yep, it is so charming and so Fredericksburg!! It makes me smile, and again, I am so happy that you enjoyed it all so much!!
Loving everything about this kitchen - and I agree, that cupboard is charming, indeed. Love that rustic table, along with the sink.
Nice eye candy on a Saturday night.

oh hello cozy cottage! i love the kitchen shelves! i know ikea sells a bit similar with low cost ofcourse, that's what i'll go and get now when i'm re-doing my little kitchen. lovely place you found!!
Sweet, sweet and sweet. I love mismatched chairs around a table, and that hutch is to die for. It reminded me at first of an old hotel mail cabinet. Love it.
The framed plans is such a great idea ... I might borrow that...
Happy weekend!

What a SWEET kitchen! I love the little cupboard cubby above the coffee machine! I'll keep my eyes peeled for you! : )
terrific kitchen, love the imperfect perfectness.
What a beautiful farm style kitchen. I can just imagine sitting at that kitchen table with friends and buckets of tea!
What a lovely little place! I thoroughly enjoyed these two posts and will keep the name in my trip file... I'll get to Fredericksburg yet!! A company called America Retold makes wire shelves like the one holding face cloths in the bathroom... I stalked one for a long time before I changed my mind and went a different direction.
Simple is best, and leaves less to worry about and enjoy food and friends. Good Times.
