Stacy Hyde - Dallas

While I was in Dallas I had a chance to visit Stacy Hyde - a great design store located at 2933 N. Henderson Ave., 214.370.4933 (couldn't locate a website). The very first thing that catches your eye when you walk in is this colorful, super-sized monogram pillow.
I've read that sunburst mirrors are on the "outs" but I think hanging it over another mirror is a terrific idea. To me, the sunburst mirror is a classic and this presentation gives it a fresh look.

Loving this one huge initial.

Fun lampshade. This has DIY potential. Cut and fray flower petals out of linen or cotton and attach them to a lampshade for this textured look. Check out the blue door in the background - isn't it beautiful? Love the color and the panel pattern.

Great great photos! Fave is the bright monogram pillow and really adore the sunburst mirror on mirror. I don't care if it's on the way out- I agree that it is a classic!

Love the pillows. From a creative standpoint the lamp shade with the torn ribbons has a lovely shabby chic vibe that captured my heart.

Maybe my mind is totally in the gutter but when I saw the SH pillow in the first picture my first thought was- ohhhh thats so funny, I wonder where the IT pillow is?

Then I read who the designer was- ugg I feel like an idiot sometimes :)

Lots of pillow talk today. Those are really neat!

I was just on:

Lots of pillows there also. They really enhance a room and they're versatile enough to bump-up color too.

It is a really cute shop! That area is full of cool places.

Before opening her shop, Stacy kind of got interested in this business after working with designer Shannon Bowers on her home.

You must try to go to Vintage Living by Lisa Luby Ryan. It's over in Snider Plaza by SMU. I tried to go on a Saturday recently and it was closed! So bummed! I stood there drooling on the windows. She also has a great website with just her name! To Die for!!!

Next time you are in Dallas, be sure to visit Mary Cates & Co. on Lovers Lane. It is a fabulous shop---wonderful lamps, antiques, bedding, etc.

I also like Lisa Luby Ryan's Vintage Living.

That inspires me to redo my office in white with magenta and yellow/orange accents. So much energy!
