Tipping Pink & Orange

I know - I featured pink & orange a fews posts ago. Jittery from "magazine anemia" I pulled the car over at the nearest Barnes & Noble and bought the July issues of British Homes & Gardens and House & Garden International. The latter had a whole spread on pink & orange fabrics, many from Bennison.

Love this vibrant bedroom. I think the pillow fabric is Manuel Canovas Cerisy (?) Love the matching box on the side table. Below are Bennison fabrics. (above image Homes & Gardens, May 2009)

Absolutely one of my favorite color combos. Did you see Style Redux's post on pink and orange? Shows up quite a bit in nature too- which to me means it's destined for a great combo.

This reminds me of Christmas, when I fill the house with red and orange roses. Lovely combination.

Aha! There's those vibrant Bennisons Joni (Cote de Texas) was referring to!

Love pink and orange, always have, always will. My favorite part of your post is the part about "magazine anemia" though! I stood at the news stand at Harvard Square today just searching for a design magazine I wanted to buy!! It's an awful condition, isn't it!!

There's something about pink & orange together that's so appealing. It's like eating a refreshing bowl of sherbet on a hot summer day :-)

THanks for all the comments everyone. I'm really loving that color combo.

Just reread my title - not sure what I was thinking with the Tipping part!

Gorgeous - I am buying the English magazines too - Homes & Gardens, House & Garden, The English Home, even the antiques ones. Desperate aren't we? I never used to buy Elle Decor or Met Home and now I am, even though they are often too modern. Like a drug addict...

May I recommend you check out your library?! Even if you don't mind spending big bucks on decor books, the library is probably chock FULL of great big coffee table decor books. My library is and I spent the better part of a year borrowing most of them...Rose Tarlow, Bunny Williams, Vicente Wolf, Hadley, Michael Smith, Mariette Himes Gomez, they have tons of great designers and tons of House Beautiful books, Ryland Peters and Small books, just everything. I am image hungry these days too, and going back to the library weekly now...what a junkie I've become!!

Love the color combo. Pink and red has been my wardrobe signature this summer :D

Am looking for a way to implement it into our daughter's (which will be "arriving" in late November) bedroom/nursery.

it's kind of good. Although I'm not sure I could stand an entire room of it.

I LOVE that raspberry pink with the orange. It's like jumping into a big soft bed of rainbow sherbet. Yummy.
