Lattice - An Inside Job

The cottage I stayed at in Fredericksburg had a terrific selection of magazines. Loved this piece on lattice used to such a great design effect. This is certainly not the Home Depot version of lattice!

I love it though, I wish it were maybe a light-ish green, I think...

I love lattice used in interiors and of course outside as well! This is simply stunning and loved the color it was painted! Canadian House and Home just featured lattice wallpaper that is pretty fun.

I think it looks kind of cool. I don't even want to know how time consuming it was to install, but the result is well worth the effort.

This would be great in a hotel design also. Love all the cut work and the color. Stunning!

What's so funny is that this issue of Home & Garden is several years old and just YESTERDAY I was reading this same issue in my car as we drove home from our vacation in Italy!! I found it stuck in the back pocket behind the drivers seat, which is funny because we have a new car which means at some point I took this issue to the car in the last 5 months and while bored on the 11 hours coming home yesterday looked around for something to do, found it, then voila, you post about it today! Serendiptity!

Anyway, I thought it was a cute idea... I remember House Beautiful (US edition) did a similiar feature with green lattice in the dining room a few years ago.

Cheers,
Toma

I think this is such a great idea. There was a great house in Domino a couple years ago that used the same idea. I'll have to see if I can dig it up.

Love this! Love the detail, love the color, love it all. The issue may be a couple years old, but the look is still very fresh and modern.

This would look great in a big airy beach house with billowy white curtain and me sitting on the porch drinking cocktails!

Usually lattice indoors is more cottage which I don't care for. This is very sophisticated-I love it.
