I had a chance to view an office renovation yesterday and came across these ToDo lounge chairs from Haworth, a designer and manufacturer of work spaces. Although they don't recline, I think they would be perfect for a home theater or a second tv viewing area, such as one located in a basement rec room. Options include wheels for easy moving, rotating cup holder and tablet, and an ottoman. My favorite part is the scale -they're not too bulky and extremely comfortable.
Have you ever come across office furniture you thought would be great in your home?

At the last college where I worked, we had these chairs in our reception area and I thought they were so smart. :)
I think my boys would love these for college or for NOW!

I had never seen one with book shelves under it! What a great idea!
It sure would look good in a media room in the basement! Thanks for sharing.
I wish they reclined.
I always notice furniture in physician waiting rooms, but one in particular had such pretty fabric on the chairs (which were also nice, and not run of the mill waiting room chairs) that I wanted to take two of them home!
They're perfect for the concentrated efforts needed as we work on computers all over our homes. Less restrictive and fun. Love the colors.

They look very groovy...and fun too, xv.
These are quite slick. I like them!
these actually aren't bad at all, for office furniture. it's only when it's in a cubicle setting with gray carpet that it looks too much like an office piece.

for blogging, wouldn't that be perfect!
I was once the controller for a venture capital firm--and therefore minder of the operating budget. One of my Managing Directors just HAD to have one of these....it was the last one. We'd joke around that he should just wheel himself into the conference room for our meetings....he'd never need to leave his "desk."
I like the "office" type furniture at Design within Reach --- chic without reminding me too much of my corporate office days!
All the time. I use office furniture in many projects.
Those chairs are great....the design is perfect!

It's really very useful blog.Your post help me to clear some of my queries about home theater seating.
Is that the chair of the future? Haha! I should have one of those chairs! The moment I sit down, I barely move to get what I need. Most of the time I ask my mom to get it for me, sometimes my dad. If we have this on our media room, I'd probably rot myself in there. Haha! I'll have everything I need right beside me.
