Gwen Driscoll: Break-Out Design Star

I've been a fan of Gwen Driscoll and her blog, Ragland Hill Social, since coming across it last December. It was always a treat when she showed snippets of her home and work for clients - often leaving me wanting more!

Well, Gwen just launched her website and to say her work is incredible is not descriptive enough. Warm, elegant, layered and unique, I think her work is harbinger of an increased emphasis on homes that personally reflect the homeowner and the artistic side of interior design. As she mentions on her site, "Spaces are lived in but become living spaces." In addition to the website launch, Gwen's work with Jane Scott Hodges, founder of Leontine Linens, is in the November issue of Elle Decor, which Teresa of Splendid Sass recently blogged about here. It's so exciting to see Gwen get the national attention her work deserves. Brava!

Wow! Really talented! Except I have a fear of taxidermy. I can't understand putting a deer head on the wall. Otherwise? Fantastic!

I had the great pleasure of meeting Gwen, she is lovely, ethereal, yet down to earth and warm. I love knowing that she was an English Major - her designs are like well crafted plotted stories.

Wow, what wonderful colors and rooms!
There are two things I dislike but that isn't bad in all those rooms ! :)

( I am one of Those People who do not find it attractive or appealing to have dead animals on the walls or floors )

I was so excited when I got my Elle Decor and was reading about Jane Scott Hodges' home and found out Gwen was the designer. Her work is stunning, and I agree, I'm thrilled she's getting the recognition she deserves!! Great post.

Gwen Driscoll is the best of the best. Her interiors are beautiful, elegant and yet very personal, which is a delicate balance to achieve and it is Gwen's particular talent to pull this off.
She is truly a gracious person. I was lucky enough to have provided the chandelier for Jane Scott's entry and I look forward to working with Gwen in the future.

Hi
Is there a store in Notting Hill that sells modern reproduction art? Afraid I'm on a bit of a budget so rushing off to Sothebys is not an option!
I came across a website that sells modern reproduction art called Soho Art - has anyone ever used this site? Naturally I'd prefer to buy from a "real" shop.......
Thanks for any advice...I got alot of white wall space to cover
