Halloween - circa 1981
As I write this post, my 16 yr old son is having a Halloween party in the other room. Coincidentally I came across this photo while cleaning out the basement today. Here I am w/my fellow senior friends at our high school Halloween party. I'm the one in the "punk-rock-camouflage" costume. Not sure what to say about my get up...although I remember this was a really fun party.

Looks like you were having a great time. Don't you just love old photographs? That is until one of your friends posts one on Facebook that you would love to forget.
Great photo. Have a Happy Halloween!

I love it and what I would give to find old photos like this. Punk rock camo was quite a statement. I think we are the same age, by the way.
What fun! Be sure to snap some pics of your son's party, so he'll have the same pleasure you've had revisiting yours.

I love this photo. It reminds me of my go-to costume as a child - I was always a gypsy. Love your blog - found it through Lavender and Lilies.

~How cute!! Happy Halloween!!~*~Hugs,Rachel~
OMG doesn't this seem like yesterday. I can't believe how time flies!! I love going through the photos but I just have no idea where the time goes. And it keeps getting faster. Huhhh!!
I have had some desperation bad costumes. How about Lanz night gown, curlers, noxema on my face. Great attempt at the battle axe. I wore my tennis clothes one year, with a rubber knife in my back, with some ketchup--guess who--Monica Seles.
Best,
Liz
sounds a bit like my weekend! love the photo--my 15 year old dressed as a punk rocker-of course, I knew just what she needed to wear!
love it! How is it you look exactly the same and I spotted you in an instant!
so fun! I love old pictures.
Love it!! Nothing like a good 80s flashback to put you in a good mood:)xx
That is great! You look terrific...and with army green so in vogue, this could have worked for 2010!
Hope your son's party went well --- we're still just trick or treating with ours. They grow up fast!!
Hey! I think I was at that same party! ;)
I am loving those Leggs that came in a plastic egg...Suntan of course!
I bet all your parties are fun!

Time flies doesn't it? Cracks me up to look at all my old 80's photos. The saying, "where does the time go", that my parents to oft utilized - that I swore I would never say and now I eat my words - immediately comes to mind!
