Marvelous...this is just beautiful! Notting Hill Gates was the first place I lived with all the immigrants when I went to St. Martins College of Art...needless to say my flat on Clanrigard Gardens looked nothing like this, had to put 5p in the meter every few minutes. Fortunately, once I settled in, I moved up to the tony 12 Park Village East. I would love to see more of your work and return to London!

Few designers would ever try to recast Dorothy Draper's over-the-top entry to the Camellia House restaurant in Chicago as a doorway in a private house, and even fewer than that would get the proportions right, but Haslam did, and with that oozy plaster urn in the stairwell, he goes one step further. With its soft, oozy curves, it's like a giant Sof-Serv dessert.

Mmmmm, Dairy Queen.

Just love Nicky Haslam. You picked fabulous images. I love the classic yet modern graphic punch of his design and that bathroom!! Love the way the bench fits into the niche!!
