I promise I won't complain when it's 98 degrees out
This interior makes me feel warm - unlike the weather we're still having here in DC. I'd give pretty much anything to bake in the sun right now. Cold weather, way too much work to do, looming deadline - yes, I know I'm whining. Even in the midst of my self-pity I can admire the beauty of this room by interior designer Meg Adams for the 2004 Atlanta Show House.

it is indeed a lovely room...one can really feel the warmth here...though here in India...we don't yearn for warm weather much..what with our seemingly never ending summer always peeking from behind the doors...wish i could stretch spring a little beyond march!! I would like you to check out my runway to room...if possible!! xxmeenal
Absolutely stunning! I haven't been able to seem to focus on how to "finish" our living room, but this has given me an idea. I love the red branches in the white vases -- it really makes a statement. Thank you for sharing this designer with us -- I'll check out other things.
Ha...me too! I'm so bummed today, but hey I really love those cheerful red branches. Maybe I'll go get some flowers to cheer me up today. Hope you're staying warm and dry!!!
Oh, you've nailed it!
Please!
What an amazing cheerful and elegant vista!
Come and visit, I posted on a painting very dear to me!

Warm is good....smiles
totally with you! BUT I did see my first blooming cherry blossom tree yesterday which gave me hope that spring will be surrounding us chilly washingtonians soon
I'm with you sister!!! Over it in so many ways. Please Spring!
Hang in there! We just skipped town today - my boys have a 2 week Spring Break. So, a week in the Caribbean and a week in Dallas. I'm doing all I can to bridge my way to Spring. I figure by the time I'm home....it'll be....warmer.

Beautiful!! Those fabulous red branches are the icing on the cake. Today got a glimpse of that long afternoon light so the temperature couldn't be TOO far behind!
I'm whining right along with you. Sick of this climate.
Michele...I remember that room. I thought the whole house was stunning that year. If I remember correctly it was a very contemporary house and was not well received...but I really liked it!
I love the mirrors in the cabinet...
And antique mirrors give such warmth in any space...
