A Jewelry Inspired Bedroom

This spring the Washington Design Center challenged eight designers to use a piece of jewelry as the inspiration for their room for the DreamHome, open now through Dec 9, 2011 (free admission). Zoe Feldman, a DC based designer who previously worked at Mark Hampton, Inc. in NY, created a chic bedroom suite inspired by a beautiful gold bark-patterned ring with diamonds from Shah & Shah Appraisers, Inc.
Love Zoe's choice to panel the walls and use strong does of saffron and melon to inject just the right amount of energy into the neutral setting. Love this chandelier! To see more, go here. (images provided by Zoe Feldman, photography by Thomas Arledge)

Also, I wanted to mention that a reader of this blog, Anne Wentworth of The Curatrix (a purveyor of curated prints based in Cold Spring Harbor, NY) is donating all net profits through mid-April from the sale of Japanese prints to the American Red Cross Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami Fund. Anne also offers a wide range of other vintage prints.

Zoe hit it! I agree with Renee- the ring is not my favorite, but I love how the room came out.
