Flowers in a Trough

On my second trip to the fab store Blueprint in Dallas, I came across this narrow ceramic trough filled with flowers. Really love how it fills the space of this bureau; could see this as a great centerpiece for a dining table. Putting this into my idea file for Thanksgiving.

I do like the white ceramic trough and how clean it looks after having seen so many zinc or tin ones.

I bought a long chicken feeder trough last year, and I was thinking of doing something a lot like this ... except I don't think I have a surface inside the house to use something THAT long. Sounds like an idea for a garden party centerpiece to me.

Love this, Michele. Maybe I should rethink the use of my planter.

Another tease of a floor clock in the background! And a clever floral display.

Just another idea- hollow out a birch (or cherry) log and fill that with flowers or moss or whatever strikes your fancy!
