This tear sheet is a little worse for the wear but the beauty of this simple and elegant dining room still shows through. Great symmetry with the urns and round platters on the stands but I'm also noticing how easy it would be to find
thrift-store chairs similar to these and paint them.

ReplyDeleteTimeless elegance is always in vogue and your suggestion on replicating it with thrift store finds makes it attainable.
Have a delightful day

Those chairs are so pretty. We would be so excited to find them in a thrift store.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and serene. Love the simplicity.
ReplyDeleteI really like this series, especially since I lost all of my magazine in the flood a couple of years ago. Thank you for sharing these pages.
I have 6 chairs similar to these that I hope to strip after Christmas. I am going to use the table as a desk/library table and use the chairs as extras.
Have a nice day, Michele.

ReplyDeleteA beautiful dinning room. Your right, it would be easy to find flea market chairs and paint them like this image.
