When I don't feel like taking a walk or run, I remind myself there's alot of architectural eye candy on my route. Here are some of my favorites. Which ones are your favorites?
As a New Englander, I'll take the simplicity of a white farm house any day. But what a great variety. #9 is also pretty sweet - really like the arches around the porch. What a nice walk you must have.
Oohhh ... such lovelies to choose from. Since we have been asked to pick favorites, I'm going with #10 or #7. Wouldn't it be fabulous to see the insides of ALL of them!
Would not be like me to choose a house based on one picture and without seeing the inside, especially knowing that there is something special about each one of them! But if I had to, I'd go with #3!
I can't choose, but I wouldn't mind walking if I could look at these homes. Gorgeous. I can already imagine the inside of the second one with its windows. Teresa xoxo
No. 8 and 9 are my speed. I think it is the pale exteriors I love and the more spare yet still traditional look. If I had these houses in my neighborhood, I would be out running twice a day.
What a lovely neighborhood! I adore #7. That room with the huge Palladian window and high ceilings must be fabulous. I also love the steep gables, the post and beam porch, and especially the terraced front yard with the stone walls and curving walk. Thanks for the tour.
I wish I had such lovely architecture to admire on my route :). The architecture you've featured reminds me of the neighborhood I grew up in. I love #3 and #7.
mmm... new england is so pretty! i was just thinking today how if we move back to the states- it may have to be our new home. i just love it. thanks for the peek at some pretty homes!
Number 11. Definitely. Its cute, it seems like littlest- the others just seem massive to me. And it doesn't look perfect or finished, which means it might need just a little love. And I do love me a brick house.
I have been in 100's of houses in 30 years of house hunting - I would take #1 or #9. Not too big, lots of interest and balance in the architecture. Usually, this translates into the interior spaces as well. Also lovely large lots in your neighborhood - lucky. Cheers!
I'd love to live in any of them. It would be heaven to see inside them all. Would have to see the back gardens too! If I had to pick, #9 is pretty sweet.
The best part about walking is looking at the houses (especially at night when you can see in the windows...in a non-creepy way of course ha). I love #5. You live in a beautiful area!

ReplyDeleteI was recently thinking how fun it might be to show houses in my part of the country. So, this is really fun!
ReplyDeleteAll beautiful in their own ways...but I kept coming back to #3.
Now that I'm renovating, I'm second guessing every choice. Love to see the various house styles, paint colors, roof, etc!!
Hope you're having a merry week, Michele!
