Using Outdoor Lights Inside?

If I hadn't already found the sconces for my bathroom renovation, I would definitely consider these. Love the styling. (Double Box Chrome Light, recently carried by Lamps Plus but now I can't find them)
This outdoor flush mount Vaxcel Robie light is on it's way to my house now where it may end up as a hall light after adding a bit of gold rub n-buff. Have you ever used outdoor lights inside ?

Beautiful. How about in a kitchen?
Outdoor lights are used in this room (in my dream file): http://s12.photobucket.com/albums/a247/segbrown/kitchen/?action=view&current=lanterns.jpg

I have, in a showhouse. I did a butler's pantry that you walked through to get to the kitchen. It was a Georgian style home in a "Garden" district and I wanted it to feel like you stepped out into the garden on the way to the kitchen. It was a beautiful lantern from Troy Lighting.

As long as the volt source matches the volt requirements for the outdoor light, if it looks good, why not?

I haven't but is a great idea. I love rub and buff. Transforms so much. I really do love the light for your hallway!
Have a nice week, Michele.

Yes, our home is a California bungalow, and we have used Arroyo Craftsman lanterns inside and out.
Makes for a very consistent look and style....

wonderful lights for indoors. Yes, I have used an antique street light in the barn loft and antique gas street lanterns from SF are now wall sconces in the storage room!

happy week!

These are gorgeous light fixtures. It is interesting that they could be swapped for the indoors. Enjoy the lovely day, Kellie xx

I haven't done it, but I have actively been looking for a nice outdoor light to put inside my foyer. Sadly, all of the fixtures I like are wildly expensive. Funny how that happens.

I love that idea. I do think that it will be an attraction inside a house. I need to buy some good outdoor lights and put it inside my new house.

Taking your outdoor lights inside? Why not! I love this idea as much as I love outdoor fixtures. Outdoor lights are so stunning in terms of the aesthetics and functionality. I never tried it before though, but I think it would be a lot more fascinating outside, especially when the sun is out. However, I’m willing to try this concept! :))
