Gray kitchens have been making the rounds on blogs as of late so here's one more to add to the mix - it's by talented designer Nadia Subaran of
Aidan Design for the 2012
DC Design House. Love the pairing of the dark wood island with the warm gray-blue cabinets and the thick topped table in the sun drenched breakfast area. Beautiful flooring too. For all the details on the kitchen head over
here.
I want this kitchen! I love an island that is different from the cabinets.

It's fabulous...love the gray and the wood island is a perfect contrast!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful mosaic backsplash. Wonder if it is hard to keep so sparkling. I love the open shelving too and the beverage center.
ReplyDeleteMichele I love it!! It is so functional while elegant!

Just saw this last weekend - the house was GREAT. Truly. And I loved all the gray - it was nice to avoid that "Show House Whiplash" you usually get from wildly different rooms all in a row.

ReplyDeleteHere is a post you might like. My friend collaborated with Bobby McAlpine studio alum, Ruard Veltman to create this beautiful house. The colors were inspired by Jasper Johns studies in gray at the Met. Her gray kitchen is serene and sophisticated all at the same time. http://dovecotedecor.blogspot.com/2010/08/ruard-veltman-collaborated-with-my.html
