This month's DHome features designer Julio Quiñones 950 sq. ft apartment. In the article he say's feeling a bit French and the result is a beautiful fresh space with a chic, Parisian feel.
Love how he painted the space above the french doors black.
The cabinets are from Ikea. Loving all this yellow - notice the gorgeous stripe banding on the cushion.

Painting the space above the door IS a really interesting idea to help fill that gap between the casing and drapery rod. So smart.
