There's alot to be said for the impact of a sight line from one room to the next. The view into designer Nancy Boszhardt's dining room is perfection. It makes me want to venture in and sit in that wing chair with the incredibly gorgeous turned legs.

Is there a sight line in your home you particularly like?
Yes. Just talking about it:

I loved the Nancy Boszhardt article. I can see we are both NYSD junkies. I love that long line too...
ReplyDeleteThere is so much to love in that photo!!
ReplyDeleteSince you asked, I do have a sight line that makes me smile. From where I sit on the family room sofa, I have a direct view into the dining room that includes my painted sideboard, new drapes, my husband's paintings, and ends with the corner cupboard ... some of my favorite things all in one doorway view.
That certainly draws you right in!! I love that, and thanks so much for entering my Give Away!!

Beautiful! You are so right about sight line. It is so important in design and these rooms are stunning!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, this is stunning. I also love the colors. Gray and lavender and gold are matches made in design heaven. I want the chair.
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday.

I have a few in my home. Line of sight photographs are one of my favorites of all design pics.
ReplyDeleteThat wing chair is splendid.
Oh, and thanks for providing a name for these pictures. Line of Sight is just right. :)
