Farrow & Ball Carriage Green
I'm still stuck on Canadian designer Michael Angus and now his office with these gorgeous green walls - Farrow & Ball Carriage Green 94. This first appeared in House & Home Condos 2009 special issue, photography by Michael Graydon. Do you have any dark green walls in your home? I think I'd like some...
(p.s. - just realized the post I did yesterday on his apartment was a duplicate of one I did in 2010!)

This is absolutely beautiful.
I have had green rooms but do not have one currently. I say go for it.

Oh, I was trying to remember how I learned about the video and now I know! Glad it was your blog. That is a beautiful shade of green. No green rooms in my house, but maybe someday if I have a home office. Are you going to give it a try?
I really like deep greens in a classic sort of setting like this. It makes me rethink my aversion to the popular color. It would make for a very cozy space.
I have to rethink my original dislike of green (only like green in the outdoors) this deep shade is gorgeous!
Oh, I was wondering where I'd seen the video before! Glad it was from your blog. That is a gorgeous shade of green. No green rooms at my house, but maybe if I had a home office or library....Are you going to give it a go?
I love how it has an old world library look to it, but so spiffy at the same time.
RE-thinking my husband's home office color.....

I'd love to do a dark room in my house but not sure which one, and/or how to would affect the overall flow of the house. I almost think it needs to be a room that has views to light rooms beyond. I think it's effective when dark walls are covered with lots of artwork to lighten them up.
That is a gorgeous shade of green. No green rooms in my house, but if I had a home office or library, I'd give it a try. Thanks for the repost of the video--it's worth seeing again!
I have a dark green bedroom and love it!
oh my god - thats THE PERFECT green. and with saddle leather!? TDF!
You know, when we bought this house, it was all forest green (and pink!). I was happy to paint it all over in neutrals and blues but I had precisely that same reaction as you when I saw his office. I went looking for the colour in the source guide! Imagine - dark green! Funny how our tastes change and evolve but also how nice a bit of colour is in a world of neutrals. By the way, when I described your style as "clean" yesterday I knew it was not the right word and then thought about what Michael said about his style and "tailored" reflected more what I meant about your look!

I'd say this post was worthy of featuring twice! I have always been drawn towards greens and this hue is making me rethink my plans for dark grey walls. Happy New Year to you!
That is a fabulous color. So rich. Love the art wall too!
I have a teal study/ office...it has more blue in it though; almost a peacock.
All the best in the New Year ahead!

There's a great English library photo in that same F & B photo that I have floating around in a post on green somewhere - Always an amazing color with art and books!
Everything seems so much more important against such a rich background! A few houses ago, we used dark green on the walls of our windowless basement office. That is still one of my very favorite rooms, because of its cozy, warm feeling.
My parents painted the study this color when I was a child.....at least 50 yrs ago....I didn't realize how forward they were.....smiles
I absolutely love that color, its one of my favorites along with Powder blue from F&B, great post!!!
Gorgeous!

I like the green, but more than anything I want to sit at that desk and write a letter.

I love that green, almost black. That would be really cool in a library or study.
Happy New Year, Michele!!! Wishing you all good things in the year to come!
