Lauren Liess' Store: Launch Party & Opening 12/7!

Last night I had a chance to attend the opening launch party of Lauren Liess' store and design studio in Great Falls, VA.  Don't let these pictures without people fool you - I had to wait a long time to muster these shots as the party was jam packed with people enjoying the incredible space Lauren and her team have created!   Lauren couldn't have found a more perfect backdrop for her fabrics, furnishings and vintage finds in this space with timbered ceilings and warm woods.  Along with furniture you can custom order, the store is filled with unique pieces.  Absolutely love these curved tables!

One whole section of the store is devoted to Lauren's fabric line with large samples giving you a real sense of the pattern.  Custom window treatments and pillows are available.

Notice my drink next to the sculpture.  It was a wonderful melon vodka concoction created by Meghan Short, a designer at Lauren's firm.  It was a huge hit with the guests.

Tomorrow is the GRAND OPENING with an open house party December 7th and the 14th too.  There will also be Christmas decorations, stocking stuffers and gifts.  Below is the info from Lauren's site - if you're in the area be sure to go!

Lauren Liess & Co.
776-A Walker Road
Great Falls, VA

**IMPORTANT - be sure to check Lauren's site if you're planning to visit on a weekend as they are now open only on select weekends.

How exciting. Lauren is a dear and her store is the epitome of her modern rustic organic natural style (I think that almost captures it). Her look is singular. She will be a huge success. I keep telling her to remember the little people when she and Dave are celebrity decorators. :)

Lauren is such a talent--I can only imagine how beautiful the store and the decor was in person.

There is no doubt in my mind that the shop will be another success in the story of Lauren's already great career!
