Now for the Inside

In yesterdays post, a few people commented about wondering what the inside of Arkansas based landscape designer Daniel Keeley's home.   Well, here it is - looks like his talent extends to interior design too!  Images via Outside the Box with D. Keeley - At Home in Arkansas.

The exterior held such promise of wonderful things within, and I'm disappointed to say that I don't think the inside is anything special. Grey with linen and stuff ... done already. Wall of rough-sawn wood ... done. Weird little tables that look nice and are useless ... done. Gold accents, etc., etc. ... yawn.

I admit that I do like the grey velvet drapes, except they need to be hung a tad higher to get them off the floor. What I see isn't puddling ... it looks like a near miss.

I love that room with the rustic wood paneling and the large clock is such a statement piece, very cool!!

I like the palette but it seems staged for sale to me. I think it's the living room chairs that look they just came from poolside. Nice though. I'd take it.

So glad he added all of that nice crown and moulding around the doorways.

I agree with Steve about the "lawn chairs" and don't care for the gray velvet drapes but otherwise love it!!!
