Look what I "made" with time I didn't really have. What was I thinking - this was fall-back not spring-forward weekend?
I also subjected my fairly disinterested husband and daughter to a steady stream of "Look at this new room I made!" When they noticed my title for this one, Library for Two, they rolled with laughter. I'm glad to have brought them comedic relief...
Anyway, I didn't know about the Grasshopper lamp until I "made" Library for Two (which I kinda thought was a play on Tea for Two, thus the tea pot, oh well.) I do love this lamp.
I just started using Polyvore too. I created a room for a contest, then I started putting together ideas for my own house. I love the rooms you created. The gray sofa with the green chairs is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't laugh at your rooms. I love to play with Polyvore. I am glad to know that I am not the only one that is slightly confysed about the whole "following" & "sharing" process too.
ReplyDeleteCan you tell me the source of the beige linen-looking sofa in the second group of photos?
ReplyDeleteSalga - go here and click on the sofa, it will bring you to the source

I love your boards! Thanks so much for the contest mention, I hope you enter. I am completely addicted, too. I try and do this while listening to tv. I am not a multi-tasker.
ReplyDeleteI fear losing all free time I have if I get on Polyvore, but I absolutely love seeing the designs other bloggers come up with (you included!).
ReplyDeleteI love that Library for Two and those chaises. Great job on room boards Michele! Have a great week. xo Nancy
ReplyDeleteI used to use Polyvore but switched to Olioboard....might need to go back and revisit.....Love your boards:)
ReplyDeletei had to think twice before opening this post michele, as you know my addiction to pinterest is off the charts and do not need another!

I notice steam coming out of my head after looking at Pinterest too long, I will see if Polyvore is safer to use :)
ReplyDeleteThanks ... I think lol...
I haven't used it before, but think I will check it out. It looks very useful.
ReplyDeleteI've never even heard of it so I guess you're ahead of me. And I love all the rooms you created. I'd be happy with any one of them.
ReplyDeleteI have an old Greta Grossman grasshopper lamp I found in Maine. I unfortunately didn't know the form quite well enough and quickly learned the shade had been replaced. I've been looking for a replacement original one without success so far.
I totally agree. Love Polyvore, but scared to get addicted to another site.
ReplyDeleteLove your boards! I just caved got on Polyvore yesterday...I'm sure I'll need an intervention by the weekend. I'm blaming Linda! :)
ReplyDeleteI have been using Polyvore for awhile but mainly to set up clothing ideas. Have not really gotten the hang of the interior design yet.
ReplyDeleteI love your rooms.
I've been using polyvore for years. It's a great way to develop a digital mood board for clients. I like how easy it is to add things to your image library plus it maintains links back to the original source for easy purchasing.
