Details from Our Florence Digs

Thought I'd share a few details of the place we stayed at in Florence, on a quiet street right behind Piazza Santa Croce ( Lolly apt via Trip Advisor; great place to stay)  This was the ceiling view in both the living room and bedroom.

The master bedroom had those great chairs recovered in a faux alligator with nail heads.

Lovely brass hardware on the terrace door and windows.

The apt has two bathrooms, this is the master.  Loved how they dressed up the plain tile with these colorful insets.

My favorite part of Florence was over the river in the neighborhood and hills leading up to the Piazzele Michelangelo.

What a lovely place to stay! The beamed ceiling is simply amazing. And even a window talking looks stylish when done in Florence. I really enjoy seeing the photos from your trip :) Happy Monday, Michele! xx

I never got over the river into the hills in Florence! Must save that for next time! I stayed in an apt in Florence and it was the way to experience how they live so much more realistically. Was your space tiny? Ours was, but we didn't care, it was so functional. Such a beautiful city! xo Nancy
