Last week I attended a packed opening party for the new location of the Washington Farrow & Ball showroom. With the recent move of the DC Design Center to new digs, Farrow & Ball took the opportunity to create a more retail-focused location in the bustling Friendship Heights neighborhood. Now they're at 5221 Wisconsin Ave, right next door to the The Kellogg Collection.
One of the best features of the new space is the expansive wall display showing off their full range of current colors. Makes it so much easier to find just the right one!
The party was jam packed and it was hard to get a photo not full of people admiring the new wallpaper selection. This gorgeous bouquet is wrapped in Aranami, which I have a feeling is going to become one of their more popular papers.
Love this!
On a slightly different note, I happened to come across a Farrow & Ball showroom while in Rome this summer. Now those of us in DC are just as lucky.

Michele, I would be like a little kid in a candy store.
So very smart to have those large color boards with the paint, so smart. Can you imagine how much that will add to sales! Plus they are beautiful!

Hi Michele,
Thanks for this post. We will be down for a weekend in October in the DC area ... gotta carve out time to check out Farrow & Ball's store.
XO.

I love Farrow & Ball's colors and paint. The Paint Shop, in downtown Warrenton, Va, carries both the paint and wallpaper, in addition to lots of other wonderful things. It's one of my very favorite places!
Wish I could have been there, so thanks for the photos! Can't wait to get over there in person.
I wish they were open on the weekends or at least later in the evening. Oh well, probably the designers can get there at those hours.
