Pattern on Pattern!

Pattern on pattern in this bedroom designed by Cathy Kincaid for the 2010 Ft. Worth show house.  The wallpapers and fabrics are original designs by Sister Parish and Albert Hadley.  (images via Houses Gardens People)

Here's a few more from her portfolio.  So gorgeous.

I love the patterns but the total coverage of everything in the room would have my eyes spinning around my head !
I like the second room .. that is more like it :)

The second room is my favorite too. All of the rooms are amazing though.

I have often found pattern on pattern can make a small room appear larger and certainly adds more drama. Nice post.

Love pattern on pattern. I find it much more livable than all white rooms.

I really really really like pattern on pattern, but I don't think I'm brave enough to try this look myself! I think it takes particular skills to pull this off...which I don't have. lol

Some of the prettiest rooms ever. I love looking at rooms that are done from floor to ceiling. If I lived in a home decorated like that it would have to be throughout the entire home or I'd feel off balance.
