It's a cold, drizzly day here in DC which has me wishing I could crawl back in bed, specifically a bed nook. This one is by Shazalyn Cavin-Winfrey of SCW Interiors for a 2009 Washington Design Center showhouse child's bedroom. Love.
I am hoping to buy a new little house .. which is actually an old house. with 2 bedrooms upstairs. I love the idea of having one with such a sweet Nook for the bed .. for a young visitor .. or even me .
Maybe I'm too pragmatic but when I see one of these the first think I always think about is the sheet changing hassle. They're really cute but a bed with a side against the wall is a pain, three sides enclosed is the stuff of nightmares. Is it just me??

How charming! Especially as a child's nook - so sweet and dreamy!
