The power of large scale art to enliven a space and bring a feeling of connection to the elements in the room is evident in this corner of the Route 20 Sofa Company. It's so inviting that a pianist found her way to the keyboard! This amazing piece is by artist Shawn Gilmore, you can see more of his work here. The Route 20 Sofa Company is a few miles east of Cazenovia, NY and I found out about them via a college friend on Facebook. They can custom handcraft a sofa in under ten weeks and their prices are very good. I'm looking forward to checking them out the next time I'm back in central NY.
