The past weekend we stayed at the newly renovated Granville Inn and the bathroom was a tutorial on how to create a fresh, classic bathroom design that will work perfectly in a small or modest sized bathroom - as this one is. The ingredients: white subway tile, chrome fixtures/lighting/accessories, marble counter and floor and a pretty wall color to complement the space. In this case, I think they chose BM Dior Gray or something similar with a nice purple undertone.
The shower curtain was cotton with thin gray striped trim.
marble basket weave floors with dark gray grout
Narrow chrome mirror with interesting detailing
and a smart, space saving feature on the vanity - a toilet paper holder.

Michele I really like the simplistic design in this bathroom but with that said it's also in the details that linger in our appreciation. I am a lighting junkie, the more unique the better. I see by your photos I'm not the only one. When we gutted our shower upstairs 3 years ago we went with the same marble flooring and put Carrara subway 3x6 on the shower walls with a border of the mosaic marble basket weave design. Classic and stunning and 3 years later we still adore our choice. There is much to admire and appreciate and emulate from this hotels bathroom,
We're in the 70's in Philly hope you too are enjoying warm Spring like weather,
