Savannah's Olde Pink House!

Not sure why it took me 52 years to go to Savannah - I'm going to have to visit many more times to make up for it.  One of our favorite parts of our time there was dinner at the The Olde Pinke House and it more than lived up to all its accolades!

Started off the evening in the bar of this mansion built in 1771.  It's a beautiful space with dark woods, pink (of course) walls and huge windows.  My Woodford Mule was delicious!

There are many spaces for dining and I was particularly pleased that we were seated in this gorgeous room with the sepia toned murals.

Now that's a ginger jar!

The mantle in a smaller dining room.

The second floor entry area is bathed in an absolutely stunning rich golden yellow.

If you're ever in Savannah, The Olde Pink House is not to be missed.  The meal was fantastic and the surroundings were a dream for anyone who loves design and gorgeous old homes.
