Happy New Year!

Hello! By day I am a management consultant, running my own business for the last 12 years. For the rest of the time I am an interior design enthusiast - or as my family might say - an interior design fanatic! A few weeks ago I stumbled upon a wonderful blog called Absolutely Beautiful things...and that one discovery led to more and more wonderful design blogs. After a few days I realized it was a whole world and it looked like a lot of fun! I am excited to end 2007 by venturing into the world of blogging and hope you find some inspiration here for your own design musings.

Hello My Notting Hill...
We've got to get you some comments! I really am liking your blog. I see some things that I like, you like as well. Isn't the decor/design blogging community the very best? I mean, no matter how successful, whether professional or just enthusiastic amateurs like us, all the best are welcoming and warm. You MUST post more photos of that house! Is this yours? You said your dream? That arched entryway is great. Where is this home?
Welcome to the cyber decor world. You've got a good eye!

Hi Halcyon, Thanks for the comments!I so wish that was my house but it is owned by some other lucky person. It is located in Watch Hill, RI, a small seaside community chock full of houses with great architecture. I will definitely post up some more pics of it. Also, I really enjoyed your post on decor shopping on ebay. Thanks. Michele

That's what a house should look like. Not one of these McMansions on a postage stamp.

Thanks for the compliment on the ebay shopping post.
I've got you bookmarked. Looking forward for more posts!
