Wing Chairs with Attitude - Love this one from Avery Noll

A stunning wing chair with a modern attitude. Newly reupolstered in brown designer fabric.
This one-of-a-kind find is from Avery Noll, an online retailer offering a variety of stylish vintage furnishings, lighting and accessories for today's modern home. Based in the Washington, DC area, Avery Noll is run by a mother -daughter team with a selective eye for great pieces, many of which they update with fresh colors, finishes and fabrics. Definitely put them on your list to check regularly. http://www.averynoll.com/
The New Wing Chair - First appearing in the late 17th century, wing chairs were originally designed to provide comfortable protection from drafts. In many families the wing chair is also affectionally known as "grandpa's chair." But now this classic chair is back in again and more stylish than ever. The February issue of House Beautiful has a whole feature on these new, hip interpretations of this classic creation. Below are some of my own nominations that weren't featured on their list.
