Isn't this chair beautiful! It's from Skona Hem via Decorology. I love everything about it.And, now moving on to some not-so-beautiful things; some 1/2 way projects of mine that I'm currently working on. I'm recovering my dining room chair seats. Out with the orange striped fabric I once loved (and only paid $3 a yard for) and in with the new...hope to post about it next weekend.

The bureau in my entry that I'm changing from worn 60's yellow to green. Sad, but the truth is I started the first coat November 2007. Also hope to post about the completed version soon. You see I'm going with the "expose yourself so you stop procrastinating" method.

Linda - Hi. I'm on a big use what I have, don't spend money kick so I'm using raffia fabric that is left over from covering a wall in my bedroom. It's staw colored. Nothing dramatic but it seems to be working. Hope to post pics later this week.

I've used that big-talk strategy of self motivation for years--with varying degrees of success. I think you have to be so convincing in public that you start believing in your own rhetoric. Politicians do it all the time.

That chest.... I would have changed the color 12 x over. I could see it in a gorgeous palladium blue with neutral undertones...that is if you have not completed it yet....fun project!
I am painting my office that very same fresh green:)
